essential

"teva" type all terrain/river sandals - all the footwear you'll need (unless you plan on hard hiking such as Mt Mariu in which case quality, worn-in hiking boots are advised)

ultra-light poly/cotton,short-sleeved,collared shirt in a light colour

fast dry walking shorts

cool, light coloured cap or booney hat (Columbia BoraBora booney excellent)

lightweight,light coloured Tshirt

shorts to swim in (swimming briefs and bikinis are not suitable around the village)

lightweight waterproof spray jacket

comfortable waterproof day pack use as your carry-on

polarized sunglasses

comfortable mask,snorkel & fins if possible try out prior to departure to ensure good fit

longsleeve lycra aquashirt (Oneill Ozone 5 is excellent - worn by our guides)

camera and plenty of film/memory,purchase film & batteries at outbound duty free

disposable water camera

30+ water resistant sunscreen

insect repellent spray

aluminium sulfate cream i.e.'Stingose' for bites and stings
